SezWho Version 2.2

For those of you who have SezWho installed already, you’ll be happy to know that sezwho has released an update that should boost the performance of their plugin. I’ve installed it, and noticed a measurable increase in speed.

(if you don’t know what Sezwho is.. it’s a way to make your comments rateable over the blogosphere, as well as the posts you make on your blogs - this blog uses SezWho - Over time you earn respect in the community according to your personal rating)

As far as the other features, Sezwho has made Thumb Up and Thumb Down the default rating system for your posts and comments.

I’m pretty impressed with this update, the only thing that I wasn’t too happy about was the fact that I had no option for an auto update in wordpress.

Steps To Install Sezwho Version 2.2 on Wordpress

download the new version
disable the sezwho plugin
upload it over the old version of sezwho using an ftp program
reactivate the sezwho plugin

Scoutle has underwent some major changes. They released an update over the past week that rolled out some pretty interesting features.

If you havent signed up for Scoutle, now might be the time to check it out. With the new features theyve opened a realm of possibilties that were not available before.

Scoutle is a unique concept, one of which I won’t go into too far as it involves abit of math and my brain is tired today.

Social Browse: Review

I recently got an invite to the new startup named “Social Browse“. They’re in private beta at present time, but look like they have made huge progress in going public.

**UPDATE** Ok so my post is pretty timely - they went public just hours after I posted this - go DL the plugin, and follow me on Social Browse!

So what exactly is Social Browse?

Along the lines of StumbleUpon, Social Browse allows you to share a page to your friends, comment on it, see what others are sharing, and basically keep up to snuff on whats hot in your social circle of browsing friends.

Social Browse is powered by a FireFox Plugin that puts 3 simple buttons beside your address bar, allowing you to post, comment or pop open/closed the sidebar feature.

I’ve been using this for about a week now, and quite simply it impresses me - this service could get really big, really quick. Everything is streamlined to be simple, clean and fast.

Adding some extra profile features and perhaps throw in a few goodies for the social marketers (complimentary social service integration - they do have Twitter so far).

It’s pretty interesting to see what some of the people on there are sharing. I’ve got the founder of facebook on my friend/fan list - Mark Zuckerberg - Extremely interesting and active user of the service. How cool is that, browsing the internet with the facebook founder everyday.

Social Browse could be a huge step in the evolution of how we surf online. The time to gain a foothold in a network like this is now. Getting in during the beginning stages, using the service as it was designed to be used and creating quality connections is what it’s all about.

Heroes Season Premiere Season 3

Going Off-Topic for a moment, I watched the extra long two episode special season premiere of season 3 last night of the fantastic series Heroes. I’ve been watching this show from the start and it never fails to break my expectations.

The two-hour special had both the first and second episodes of Heroes Season 3. The storyline is advanced in amazing twists of time and fate. The episodes focus around mohinder, maya, the cheerleader and her father, sylar, peter, nathan and their mother. There’s a HUGE revelation at the end of the second episode that I won’t give away, but let’s just say I was shocked to see who was “part of the family”.

Anyways, enough of my ramblings about the season 3 premiere of Heroes. It’s one of my favorite shows, how about any of you - You like Heroes or what?Similar Posts:

Blog Love - A Tale of Two Blogs

As promised, I`ve gone over the top two websites who participated in the Social Media Marketing Contest. I`ve got an interesting viewership - these two blogs are very insightful in their own right.

The first blog up for mentions in this review is named “Just Me“. It`s written by a 27 year old woman named Jenera Healy who describes herself as a `Domestic Diva`. The topics of this blog, as the name implies, revolve around Jenera herself. Insight into daily activities and situations that crop up in her day to day life, Jenera writes her posts with a flourish that makes for an interesting read. Make sure to stop by and leave a comment on her latest post!

Secondly, we`ve got a “make money” blog written by an 18 year old student from the Phillipines simply referring to themself as “BM”. Social Networks Exposed!

The results are in for the Social Media Marketing Contest! There was a lot of interest in this contest due to the hot topic.
