• The List itself will be actually USED TO DROP because of the reward of link building!

The “Drop To The Top” Entrecard movement has begun.

Entrecard is growing at an enormous rate.  In the past few months they’ve added some unique tools for us bloggers to help use the system to its full potential.

Visiting blogs that are using the “Top Droppers” feed is one of the easiest ways to get links back to your blog at the same time as dropping your daily 300.

The Top Droppers list displays the top ten blogs that have dropped their Entrecard during that month.  If you haven’t yet installed it on your blog, get to it!  It’s a great way to encourage repeat droppers by rewarding them with a link-back.

If you don’t have the Top Droppers list installed on your site yet and you can’t be bothered, there is still a way to benefit.  By bookmarking this page and referring to the list of blogs that are added when dropping, you will be working on building yourself links.  As stated before, a GREAT way of building links with no extra effort than dropping.

The Top Droppers list is installable through RSS.  If you don’t know what this means and need a little more info, check out this post on How to add an Entrecard Recent Droppers Widget to Your Blog and IGNORE THE RECENT DROPPER PART.  Instead, login to your Entrecard profile as stated, and click on “more stats”.  You’ll find a link to the RSS feed of your Top Droppers on that page.  THIS is the link you must use instead.  Continue with the tutorial and you should have it installed.  If you simply follow the instructions on that page, you will end up with a “Recent Droppers” list instead.  (A tutorial will be added to this page in updates)

Now if you HAVE installed this on your blog already, listen up.  The “Drop To The Top” list is a way of telling everyone that you are willing to reward them for repeat dropping.  Simply install one of the banners directly above or below your Entrecard widget and comment on this post.  You’ll be added to the Drop To The Top List.

When someone visits your site, clicks the banner and ends up here, they will be given this basic overview of the top dropper list and how it can benefit them as an Entrecard user!  Imagine how many more drops you’ll have in a day if people actually realize you have that Top Droppers list installed and how it can benefit them.

This list is both a great way to promote your blog by getting on it, and a valid way of gaining links by using it as your personal drop list.

How To Join The Drop To The Top Entrecard Drop List:

1. Make sure you have a Top Dropper Widget installed on your Blog
2. Install the “Drop To The Top” button of your choice directly below or above the Entrecard Widget.
3. Leave a comment below with a link to your blog.

How To Install The Drop To The Top Button:

1. Save one of the button images found below to your computer and upload it to your blog, making note of the permanent link to the image.
2. Copy and paste the code found below in the desired position in your blogs template, replacing the “http://www.socialarrow.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/dtttbuttondarkblue125×23.png” with the permanent link that you made note of when uploading the image.
3. You’re Done! (for help installing - “Send a Social Arrow“)
