“Performancing” Your Entrecard Earnings

For some of you Entrecard users this may be a nice little experiment. I’ve just installed on the left side of my blog a widget by “Performancing Ads” . I originally got the idea to try this out from Turnip’s post on Performancing Ads. So far I’ve got to say I’m impressed.

This widget allows you to sell your blog space in 125×125 squares, from 1 to I believe the number was 10. I’ve installed 4 squares on the side of my blog for now, RIGHT OVER the drop slot of my Entrecard and right in prime location for viewers to interact with. This is important, the location that you place this widget should determine how well you do.

Right now I’ve got adspace being sold, but I also have another option through performancing. I earn credits whenever I display an ad or sell ad space. These credits can be exchanged for advertising spots on other blogs. All this sound abit reminiscent of Entrecard.

I see a Huge possibility here for people using both systems to their advantage. The setup was painless for me, the time to set it up was next to nothing too. If you’re looking for something to perhaps boost your blogs earnings, traffic and connections - I’d highly recommend you go and check it out.

I keep seeing these all over and I’m curious but still not well-informed. I checked out Turnips post and I know a little more about it so I think that is on my to-do list for today. See how this does.

Yeah I’ve had it running for abit - seems interesting. What I’ve been playing around with though is getting my site advertised on others from anywhere between .5 cents and 1.00 for a day. Some of the sites you can get on are pretty high profile for the cost, probably because this is a newer solution and quite a few of the high profile blogs have been testing it out. With noone else taking advantage of an advertising spot on a blog that gets 2000 uniques a day right at the top for 50 cents a day.. you cant really lose if you have decent related content.

I’ve been wanting to enter at least one of these contest this summer, but as of yet havn’t had a chance. Maybe this will be the one!!! jj
